We are beyond thrilled to share that Vira Ogburn, our dedicated President at Minds in Motion Children’s Museum, was recently honored at the Community Foundation of the Eastern Shore’s Annual Meeting. Vira, who is also a passionate science teacher at Bennett Middle School, was recognized for her outstanding leadership and contributions to our community.
As both an educator and a community advocate, Vira’s commitment to promoting STEM education and inspiring young minds shines through in everything she does. Her work at Minds in Motion is an extension of her dedication to fostering curiosity, creativity, and learning in children. We’re incredibly proud to have her leading the charge as our President.
The annual meeting, which celebrates the grant-making efforts of the Community Foundation and recognizes the incredible people behind them, was a wonderful event. Vira was honored for her tireless efforts and leadership that help make Minds in Motion the vibrant, inspiring place it is today.
